Durability:
These slabs are non-hygroscopic, odorless and rot proof which makes it more durable and enhance its performance as well. These slabs are non-combustible with a great fire performance classified as Euroclass A1 to BS EN ISO 13501-1. Featuring a wide range of densities, these slabs have exceptional thermal and acoustic properties.
Certifications:
KNAUF RS45 Slabs are constructed from non-combustible inorganic rock wool that is defined as mineral wool in BS 3533: 1981. They comply to a Quality Assurance system that has association with BS EN ISO 9001:2000.
Environmental Concerns:
These slabs are free from CFCs, HCFCs and other materials which feature a potential of ozone depletion in their manufacturing. This makes it environmental friendly and approves it as natural enough for installation in buildings. Inclusion of Ecose Technology makes sure that it is an eco-friendly formaldehyde-free binder constructed from quickly renewable bio-based materials. These slabs are also Zero ODP and Zero GWP which makes them more ecological.
